Online auction strategy

Online pre-sort auction sales at Assiniboia Livestock Auction allow you to bid on the lots you want without ever having to leave your home or office. Before you register and start bidding in your first online auction, there are a few things you should know:

Auctions are fast and furious.

If you've ever been to an auction then you know the action in the ring races along like a wild horse out on the open range. Pre-sort auction sales at Assiniboia Livestock Auction are no different.

As an auction gets underway, the bidding is fast and furious. The bids start low and it seems like everyone wants to bid. At this time, it will be very hard for an online bidder to get his bid in. The software that runs the online auction is state-of-the-art, but it isn't faster than the people in the ring at this early stage of the auction. But this isn't a bad thing. You don't have to bid at these speeds.

Assiniboia Livestock Auction online pre-sort auction sales allow you to buy what you want when you want it.

Potential buyers will start dropping off as the bids get higher and higher. Now it is your turn as an online bidder. As the auction winds down, you can easily get your bids in, competing with the last of the bidders in the ring, fighting it out until you are the one with the highest bid.

When the auctioneer says "Sold" the cattle will be yours if you have the current highest bid.
